Rosé Review: Summer 2020

Not many things go together quite like summer and rosé…Am I right?! This summer has been all about hanging out socially distant either on the beach or in the yard… or even in the parking lot. Although we are all adjusting to this “new normal,” nothing is new about summertime and rosé all day!

Here is a list of my favorite rosés that I have been sipping on all summer long

(and all under $26!):

BEACH JUICE

I mean c’mon…rosé in a can literally named Beach Juice?! If this isn’t in your beach cooler you’re doing something wrong!  This Provence-style rosé from the grapefruit palette is super yummy with fruity hints of orange, strawberry and cherry.  And have you seen the can?! It doesn’t get much cuter. Each can is 375ml and 13% ABV. That’s a lot of alcohol in one tiny can…actually 2 cans of Beach Juice = 1 bottle of wine! Beach Juice comes with or without bubbles, so the choice is yours. To make things even easier, this summer Beach Juice launched their website where you can now order online in 39 out of 50 states. Order here or find a supplier near you: beachjuice.co. To check out my beach day with Beach Juice, click here!

MAISON NO. 9

Post Malone once said, “Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy” … and then he created a wine so we can do just that. This classy looking bottle gives all the feels for a girls night in or a special celebration. Recently launched this June, his wine is popping up in local liquor stores all over and has become fairly easy to find (at least in NY!). You can even purchase his wine on the alcohol delivery service app, Drizly. This crisp, smooth French rosé will have you running circles.

VANDERPUMP ROSÉ

OK where are all my Bravo fans at!? Are you even a real fan if you haven’t tried Real Housewife of Beverly Hill’s Lisa Vanderpump’s Rosé?! This past May, while still in quarantine, we found the perfect gift for Mother’s Day - a virtual wine tasting hosted by Lisa and her daughter Pandora (an event produced by wine.com). Finally an excuse to try Vanderpump wine (ha, like I needed an excuse) and let’s just say we are glad we did. If you’re looking for a refreshing, easy to drink, tasty rosé… well you found it. This Provence classic is perfect for a hot summer day and sure to make you feel like a RHOBH.

NOTORIOUS PINK

This has been a staple of mine for many years. It is my go-to. This pale pink wine, made from 100% Grenache from the South of France, is perfect anytime you want it. I enjoy this wine very chilled making it easy to drink with or without food. Although rosé is perceived to be “a summer wine”, this wine is becoming notorious as a year round rosé.

BABE

Leave the wine glass at home. This take-anywhere wine in a can is so cute it can fit in your purse. Not only does BABE make Rosé, but also BABE Grigio and BABE Red, to satisfy all the palates of wine lovers. BABE Rosé is anything but basic and has transformed the way us millennial are drinking wine. So next time you have all your Babes together, make sure to stock up! (Babe x Just Jac).

WÖLFFER ESTATE

A long island girl knows her long island wines. To highlight one of my local favorites, Wölffer Estate is most commonly known for their Summer in a Bottle, one of the most eye catching bottles on the liquor store shelves. And let me tell you, it tastes as good as it looks! To try something new, this summer I have been drawn to their Finca Wölffer Rosé 2018. Their summer inspired wines are filled with fruity flavors and graceful acidity, that pair well with almost any food. If you’re looking to bring style and sophistication to the party, here is your vice. (JUST JAC TIP: Save these bottles for a fun DIY project or as a décor element to add to any at home shelf!).

Have you tried any of these yet? Would love to hear what you think!
